Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of ClaimYour#1 (the “site”) at www.claimyour1.com, operated by Your Business Name (“we”, “us”), Your registered address, City, State, PIN code. By using the site or paying for a listing, you agree to these terms, our privacy policy and our refund and cancellation policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. The service
ClaimYour#1 is an online leaderboard of Indian startups. You pay to place a startup on the leaderboard. Its rank is set only by the total amount paid for it; anyone can pay more to move above it. Every listing gets a public startup page and appears in its category and city.
Rankings are paid placements, not reviews or endorsements. We don't verify, rate or recommend any listed startup, and we don't promise any rank, number of visitors, clicks, leads, sales or other result. Your rank can change at any time when others pay.
2. Who can use it
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
- If you list a startup, you must own it or be authorised to list it on its behalf.
- If you act for a company or firm, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it.
3. Prices and payments
- Prices are in Indian rupees, from ₹5 to ₹5,00,000 per payment. The price to take a rank is ₹1 more than the total of the startup holding it, shown before you pay.
- Prices are final. If we register for GST, prices will include it where applicable.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited under its own terms. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Payments for a startup that is already listed add to its total. They don't change that listing's name, description, links or logo.
- All payments are final and non-refundable, except for failed payments, double charges and listings that never went live, as set out in our refund and cancellation policy. If you raise a chargeback for a payment that was delivered as described, we may remove the listing.
4. Listing rules
You are responsible for everything you submit, and for anything we fill in from your website that you confirm. Listings must be accurate and must not contain or link to anything that:
- is illegal in India, or promotes illegal activity, gambling, betting, weapons, drugs, tobacco or alcohol;
- is obscene, sexually explicit, or harmful to children;
- is defamatory, hateful, harassing, or discriminates on the basis of religion, caste, gender, ethnicity or similar grounds;
- impersonates any person or business, or infringes anyone's trademark, copyright or other rights;
- is deceptive or misleading, including fake claims, financial schemes promising returns, or phishing;
- contains malware, or threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, public order, or friendly relations with foreign states.
We may refuse, edit for formatting, hide or remove any listing that breaks these rules or the law, or when required by a court or government order. Listings removed for breaking these terms are not refunded.
5. Content you give us
You keep ownership of your startup's name, logo and content. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and share them on the site and in our promotion of the leaderboard, for as long as your listing is live and for a reasonable time afterwards in archived material.
6. Our content
The site's design, text, code and the ClaimYour#1 name and logo belong to Your Business Name. You may link to the site and share listings, but you may not copy, scrape or resell the leaderboard without our written permission.
7. Acceptable use
Don't interfere with the site, try to access it in unauthorised ways, overload it, use bots to inflate clicks or visits, or use it to send spam.
8. Grievances and takedown requests
Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you can report a listing or raise any complaint with our grievance officer:

We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days. Include the listing link and why you're reporting it. Rights holders reporting infringement should include proof of ownership.
9. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it online and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Listed startups are independent of us; any dealings you have with them are between you and them.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us for the listing concerned in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that can't be limited.
11. Indemnity
You agree to compensate Your Business Name for claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your listing, your content or your breach of these terms.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove a listing, or stop providing the site, if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we close the service. If we close the service for reasons unrelated to a breach, we'll give notice on the site.
13. Events beyond our control
We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages at our payment or hosting providers, natural disasters or government action.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We'll try to resolve any dispute informally first; write to main98245@gmail.com. Otherwise, the courts at Your City have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting your right as a consumer to approach a consumer commission.
15. Changes and general
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, with the policies linked above, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site.
